::: BRIEF SUMMARY

I enjoy the challenge of launching and marketing new products and services, as well as developing new strategies to promote already established markets. In doing so I am keenly aware of the importance of the factor wellness as the prime antidote to the accumulated stresses of daily life.


WORK EXPERIENCE

Consulting activities for a newly opened wellness studio in Berlin.

Since November 2006 I have started my own business.

::: Since 2000

For the occasion of the new opening of the Berlin Marriott Hotel on Potsdamer Platz, I have accepted the challenge to position this luxury property on the Berlin 5-star-hotel-circuit.

In the position of marketing manager for Tropical Islands, a new entertainment park near Berlin, it was my privilege to personally support the founder of the project Colin Au to prepare his business plan and achieve his business goals in spite of a still unknown market platform.

::: The nineties

After 2,5 years experience as sales director for the Sheraton Hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, I took over the sales leadership for the new luxurious Sheraton Addis Hotel, Ethiopia.

Further openings followed: In Dubai I was in charge of sales and marketing for the opening of the Four Points Sheraton followed by the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel.

Back in Europe... taking over the responsibility for sales and marketing, it was my prime task to reposition the Hilton Berlin in the 5 star market place. The hotel underwent a major refurbishment with upgrades.

::: The eighties

The positions sales representative to sales manager at the Frankfurt Sheraton hotel were excellent preparations for a sales carreer and for my first leadership role at the Sheraton Casablanca, Morocco.

High School St. Peter Ording (near Hamburg) with Abitur (4.0 grade average).

Ecole Hôtelière Lausanne, Diploma in Hotel Management.
